Exhibition: Cartographie culturelle – a study of cultural venues in Paris and Oslo

10 September – 24 September

Arkitektur- og designhøgskolen i Oslo, Maridalsveien 29, Oslo

Cartographie Culturelle is an ongoing exploration of cultural institutions and their role in the cultural, urban and social development of the city. It has been led by a network of French-Norwegian architects and students.

The project is a collaboration between Institut Francais de Norvège and Oslo School of Architecture and design together with Eriksen Skajaa Architects from Oslo and LAN Architects from Paris.

The exhibition shows different steps of this process, mainly through the work of two tandems of French and Norwegian architects and photographers, in Paris and in Oslo.

The project looks at the movement of cultural venues and institutions within the city. How are these movements related to the physical and social changes in the city?
