The Oslo Architecture Award is presented annually to outstanding projects that strengthen, develop and renew the aesthetic qualities of their surroundings through architectural form and efficient land use. All types of buildings and facilities are eligible. The award seeks to stimulate interest in architecture and urban development in Oslo by showcasing new and exceptional architecture in the city.
The 2016 award ceremony and seminar takes place in Oslo City Hall (Bystyresalen) on October 13 between 9 am and 12.30 am. The three nominated projects will be presented in detail, and the award will be handed out by the mayor of Oslo, Marianne Borgen.
