Welcome to join us for the launch of the 2022 Oslo Architecture Triennale Theme! The launch marks the start of a year and a half of open research and investigation - in collaboration with a range of partners, as well as through open calls - leading to the Triennale in the fall of 2022.

The Nordic City Experts in the panel have in common an interest in the human experience and use of the city, combined with a will to investigate and improve the structures that shape it:

Hanna Harris, Chief design officer, City of Helsinki
Hanna Harris is engaged in strengthening the importance of architecture and design, and its positive impact in the city and society. Harris works to connect the strategic and architectural dots for the city of Helsinki. Previously, Harris has been Director of Archinfo Finland and Programme Director for Helsinki Design Week.

Camilla van Deurs, City Architect of Copenhagen
As City Architect of Copenhagen, van Deurs is engaged in shaping a livable, inclusive, and sustainable city. Previously, van Deurs has been partner at the urban design and research consultancy Gehl Architects, working with urban strategy, planning and design for both public and private clients around the world.

Dan Hill, Director of Strategic Design, Vinnova
As designer and urbanist, Dan Hill is positioned at the intersections between design, cities, tech, research and governance. At Vinnova, the Swedish government’s innovation agency, Hill works to bridge the experience of place and culture with systems and environments. Hill is also Visiting Professor at UCL Bartlett, Design Academy Eindhoven, and Adjunct Professor at RMIT.

Rasmus Reinvang, Vice Mayor for Urban Development, City of Oslo
As Vice Mayor for Urban Development in Oslo, Rasmus Reinvang is especially engaged in the green development of the city. Before entering into politics, the historian and social scientist Reinvang has been a consultant, author of books and articles, and has lectured at several universities across Europe.
