The Nordic Network for Neighbourhood Culture
In relation to the Oslo Architecture Triennale 2022, the triennale will bring together a curated group of Nordic city architects, design institutions, and culture & community actors to strengthen the public sector’s ability to develop more cohesive, socially fair and culturally diverse neighborhoods.
As a response to the growing challenges in existing and developing urban areas in Nordic cities, the Nordic Network of Neighborhood Culture will be a cross-national, interdisciplinary platform for Nordic city architects, design institutions, and culture & community actors to share knowledge and build new competency.
Through a series of partner camps and public symposiums, the ambition is to share practices and approaches to developing more socially sustainable, culturally vibrant and diverse neighborhoods.
The network will run from May 2021 and consist of a research and development process, network meetings and an international summit in Oslo in the autumn of 2021.
