Five proposals have been shortlisted for the Open Call for Curator of the Oslo Architecture Triennale, 2019. In the first round of meetings, the Jury has considered more than 70 proposals submitted from all over the world.
The shortlisted candidates are:
Adrian Currie, Andre Dekker, Christiane Bürklein, Dominique Chouchani, Herbert Wright, and Zuzanna Skalska;
Anna Bokov and Nina Edwards Anker;
Brendan Cormier, FIG projects (Fabrizio Gallanti and Francisca Insulza), and Mabel O. Wilson;
Dehlia Hannah, James Graham, and Nadim Samman;
Interrobang Architecture & Engineering.
«Many of the proposals deal with the most important issues of our time, issues which cannot be ignored in a relevant discussion about architecture’s role today and in the future,» the Jury states.
The Jury comprises Nina Berre, Anne Beate Hovind, Pedro Gadanho, Marianne Skjulhaug and Kjetil Trædal Thorsen. It will now initiate a round of interviews in order to select the final candidate.
