Welcome to a lecture with the architect Peter Rae from Groupwork!
GROUPWORK is a British architectural office established by Amin Taha in 2003, known for some of the most controversial buildings in London in recent years. Amin Taha will talk about his projects and how to build in the city, and what it means to be someone's architectural neighbour as a tool to work with urban environments.
With their rough load-bearing stone structures, GROUPWORK has given a beautiful architectural answer to how we can build sustainably. Their mix of old and new makes a radical form of classical architecture. Traditional form is accurately reproduced and mercilessly adapted to create a new urban form.
The lecture series for the Oslo Architects Association this autumn is an independent lecture series, linked this autumn to the Oslo Architecture Triennale's theme.
Oslo Architects Association (OAF) is a local association in the National Association of Norwegian Architects.
The lectures are open for everyone.
Free entry fir OAF's members and students. NOK 80,- for non members.
