Architects, planners, and other professionals will debate on how we can create sustainable neighbourhoods that make everyone feel safe and part of the community across age groups.
As the population is aging, the tax income will slow down and probably result in reduced public services for older people which in turn means that each of us must take greater responsibility for our own old age.
Thus, it's in everyone's interest that elderly can live in their own home for as long as possible. We have a broad knowledge on the physical accommodation for the elderly, but how can we create good and safe neighbourhoods where everyone contributes to building good social relationships?
The event is a combination of short presentations followed by a panel debate.
