Welcome to Triennale Academy Assembly 3. Stories Untold: Tøyen
Welcome to a student-run on-site storytelling session led by Matthew Dylan Anderson (Assistant professor and researcher at AHO) and Sareh Saeidi (Architect PhD and assistant professor at NMBU).
Students will have group storytelling sessions about their observations, identified social and ecological values, and share stories and examine the future of Tøyen park.
The OAT Academy 2022 workshop: (RE)acting/(EN)acting – Collective Dissidence, Reclaiming the Neighborhood brings together European Architect schools to Oslo for a week-long dialogue and knowledge-sharing experiment.
Matthew Dylan Anderson is an assistant professor and researcher at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) and director of Steinlia – an architectural practice. His current work includes critical practice, artistic research, and architectural pedagogy, investigating the operational potentials of queer and feminist perspectives in ontology and ecology.
Sareh Saeidi is currently an assistant professor and researcher at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU - department of Building- & Environmental Technology) and an architect at LINK Arkitektur (Oslo). She holds a PhD in architecture from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. Her ongoing research offers theoretical and design-based discussions on the operational potentials of “kindness” in architecture.
